The Steffy/Liam/Hope triangle over on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL is about to become a quad with the introduction of Darin Brooks as Wyatt Fuller! According to TV Guide, Brooks who won a Daytime Emmy in 2009 for his role of Max on DAYS OF OUR LIVES will be introduced as a potential love interest for Hope, who catches him naked in the shower at the Forrester cabin up at Big Bear! Look for the troublemaker to debut on Friday, June 21.

There's another high-profile exit coming over at THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL following on the heels of Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy) taking a little break. Hunter Tylo (Taylor) announced on her Web site that she is also off-contract.
"I am getting bombarded with questions to quell rumors, and here in my forum, I will clarify that Jackie and I are (coincidentally) off our contracts," the actress posted at HunterTylo.com. "I have been very successful outside of B&B and I have no doubt she will be too. And more so, because she is free and single to travel all over the world.
"For me, contract talks ended four weeks ago," she continued. "I am moving forward and opening back up to the thousands of acting roles available, writing and pursuing my skin care line. My friends and B&B fans will be sorely missed. But don't worry! I'll keep you posted of my every new adventure."
Tylo also revealed that Taylor's final appearance would be on her own birhtday, Wednesday, July 3. However, Taylor has come and gone from B&B in the past, so there's no telling just how permanent this exit might be.

They tweet each other quite regularly, and she has been by his side at events. But former THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL co-stars Ashley Jones (ex-Bridget) and Jack Wagner (ex-Nick) have never commented on their rumored relationship... until now! The two actors have confirmed to Soaps In Depth that they are a couple! "We've been dating probably about a year, maybe more," Wagner shares. "We worked together for years but never dated [at B&B]."
We'll have more on the couple's real-life romance in an upcoming issue of Soaps In Depth!
Contrary to reports published elsewhere, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy) is not leaving THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL.
"Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is taking a short break, as she has done in the past, from B&B," says a spokesperson for the soap. "She remains as the character of Steffy Forrester and is continuing to tape, currently, with episodes airing through July of 2013 and then beyond."
In fact, the actress is due in the studio later this week to tape scenes. We have no details about exactly how long her break will be, but it isn't a permanent one!
Ron Weaver, a longtime producer of THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL, passed away on Saturday, May 11, at his home at the age of 75. Weaver joined the B&B team in 1986, launching the soap with William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell and staying with the show for 27 years.
"I am saddened to learn of the passing of Ron Weaver," said B&B executive producer/headwriter Bradley Bell in a statement. "Ron was talented, a good friend to all of us, and a 26 year producer of THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL. He will be missed, will always be remembered and will forever remain in our hearts."

Back in March we told you about a collaboration between NATAS and the Smithsonian Institute to bring some of the most iconic daytime television memorabilia to the national museum, and today the first donations were presented!
Today's ceremony officially launched a three-year collecting initiative between the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) and the National Museum of American History, aiming to help the museum expand its capacity to tell the story of daytime television and the Daytime Emmy Awards. At the ceremony, the Smithsonian accepted artifacts that reflect the contributions of daytime television programming, including a 1984 JEOPARDY! script from Alex Trebek, objects from the children's series BARNEY, and the gown that Susan Lucci (ex-Erica, ALL MY CHILDREN) wore on the cover of People magazine celebrating her legendary Daytime Emmy win. "They've asked me for [an AMC] script as well," the iconic daytime actress tells Soaps In Depth. "Plus, People is doing a big blow-up of the cover."
The daytime television collection (which will include children's programming, talk shows, game shows and cooking shows) will be part of a larger entertainment exhibit scheduled to open in 2015. "Right now, the area that the museum is going to devote to this exibit on American culture at large is under reconstruction," curator Dwight Blocker Bowers tells In Depth. "We have a very small soap opera collection, and this is an opportunity for us to add to it."
For more on this collaboration, check out an upcoming issue of Soaps In Depth.

Over at THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, the cast and crew have created a memorial outside the dressing room of the late Jeanne Cooper (Katherine), and more actors have continued to release statements eulogizing their friend:
Eric Braeden (Victor): "She was an absolute joy to work with. We never did a scene without having laughs. After a painful struggle, she has finally found peace. I will miss working with her a lot."
Don Diamont (Bill, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL; ex-Brad, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS): "I just love Jeanne and have so much respect for her. She was such a supporter of mine when I started at Y&R as a young, green actor. That always meant so much to me. She was truly one-of-a-kind. This next saying is used far too often but is truly applicable in her case: When they made Jeanne Cooper they broke the mold."
Doug Davidson (Paul): "She was one of a kind and she held my hand for 35 years. She helped me be a better actor, husband, parent, and friend. My life was so enriched having known her. She was such a loving, kind soul. With Jeanne, there was no judgment, no rules. She loved you for you. She always had time for you and was so gracious with her love. For me, she was a personal giant, an sublime example of how to behave on planet Earth. I will miss her more than I can describe. I will say with certainty, that Heaven just got a hell of a lot more interesting! Godspeed, my dear friend. I love you."
Rumors have been flying around Twitter that Dan Gauthier, ONE LIFE TO LIVE's ex-Kevin Buchanan, would be joining the cast of THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL. And while the talented actor would be a welcome addition to the cast of any soap, in our opinion, a rep for B&B reports that those rumors are false. Guess B&B has reached its hunk quota for the time being?
THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL earned its Outstanding Drama Series nomination with Stephanie Forrester's celebration of life and her good-bye party. "I just thought they were really touching and unique," says headwriter and executive producer Bradley Bell. "And Susan [Flannery, ex-Stephanie] was stellar, as always. Everyone in the room was amazing."
And don't think just because Flannery isn't with the soap anymore that she'll be giving the ceremony a miss! "She'll show up!" Bell insists. "I think this means a great deal to her. It's so significant because it was the end of her time at THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL, which was the biggest chapter of her life. So this means a lot to her."
And among the other B&B actors who enjoyed Emmy nods is Scott Clifton (Liam), who submitted the episode where Liam has the confrontation with Hope while in his underwear and sporting tattoos and dyed hair, which is followed by the confrontation with Bill where Liam ends up being choked by his dad!
"There were a couple other ones I was proud of," Clifton muses, "Some very small, subtle scenes with Taylor and some other scenes with Bill. But what I think are nice moments are not the kinds of things that other people are going to appreciate when it comes to Emmy voting. People kind of weighed in and said, 'No, you need to do that one in the underwear.' It was much more of an attention-grabber."
And that was important, because this was the first year where the actor was participating in the Supporting category instead of Younger Actor. "I feel like the competition is a little harder in this category and it means more to me to be recognized as a supportive actor," Clifton says. "In the medium we're in, it is an ensemble cast, and there's nothing more important than being recognized as being supportive of other actors. That's really special."

Katie's emotional roller coaster on THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL gave portrayer Heather Tom an embarrassment of riches when it came time to choose what to submit for Emmy consideration. So what did she finally decide on? "I submitted the shows where Katie left baby Will the first time in the midst of her post partum depression," she reveals.
Because B&B is a half-hour, they're allowed to submit two episodes as opposed to the hour-long soaps. "I submitted back-to-back shows," Tom explains. "I still almost did just one episode, but the episode before was short. Casey [Kasprzyk, a producer at B&B] was the one who suggested I consider including the show before which sets it up. I've always felt that it's difficult to find that one episode that's going to encompass your entire year."
Tom is thrilled for fellow Lead Actress nominee Susan Flannery (ex-Stephanie) and Supporting Actress hopeful Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke). "I'm so happy for Kelly," she enthuses. "It's fantastic." Of course, there were some omissions, as far as she's concerned. "I thought Don [Diamont, Bill] did some really nice stuff," Tom says. "It was well-written and told a story. I'm surprised Laura Wright (Carly, GENERAL HOSPITAL) didn't get nominated."
Now it's time for the actress to get in fighting form for the ceremony where she'll see if she can bring home another trophy matching the one she received last year! "I have seven pounds to lose before June!" Tom laughs. "The fun part for me is getting on the treadmill, hiking and biking. Then, I'll think about what I'm going to wear. I had such a great time last year. I'm really excited that HLN is [broadcasting] it again. I'm looking forward to a fun night!"
Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL) was awoken this morning at a quarter after five by executive producer and headwriter Bradley Bell calling her with the big news that she had been nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress! After years in the business, the actress is delighted to receive her very first Emmy nomination, and doesn't mind at all that it's in the Supporting and not the Lead Actress category.
"I was supporting last year," she explains. "All my stories... I had no story that was about Brooke. I did a lot of mom stuff, and Brooke supported Susan [Flannery] during Stephanie's cancer storyline. If I'd had a lead story, I would have put myself in lead."
And in fact, both she and Flannery submitted the same episode to earn their nominations. "I used the last scene in which Stephanie passed away," Lang explains. "I submitted the scenes where we're on the bench and she says 'Sing to me' and I sing to her and she passes away."
And Lang was the one who informed her former co-star that their episode had netted them both Emmy nods! "I sent her a text" she reveals. "She said 'I didn't even know [today was the day].' She's so happy!"
Nominations for the 40th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards were announced this morning. THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS leads with 23 total nominations, followed closely by GENERAL HOSPITAL with 19. DAYS OF OUR LIVES earned 17 nods and THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL garnered 15. ONE LIFE TO LIVE, which was eligible for the few episodes that aired at the beginning of 2012 even managed to pick up 3 nominations for itself, including Outstanding Drama Series! The Daytime Emmys will be held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA and broadcast on HLN on Sunday, June 16. The full list of nominees is after the jump!

If you've been missing Ashley Jones on your screen, you're in luck! Not only is the beauty briefly reprising her role as Bridget on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL beginning Wednesday, May 22, but she's also starring in the Lifetime Original A Sister's Revenge this weekend! In it, she plays the wife of a successful restaurateur whose past as a philanderer catches up to him in an unexpected way. "I'm one of the three leads, and I'm playing opposite Canadian actor Tim Rozon as my husband," Jones reveals of the thriller that she shot last November.
However, the other gal to keep an eye on in this picture is Brooke Burns (MELROSE PLACE, BAYWATCH), whose dangerous character has an axe to grind against the man for wronging her sister. How far might the femme fatale go? Jones promises the kind of "juicy" twists and turns that daytime TV fans love most. "So many of these Lifetime movies are soapy too," she says of the reason everyone should tune in to catch it on Saturday, April 27, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, April 28, at 12 a.m. and 5 p.m. EST. "You know, you settle in for the evening and it's a great movie to watch with your boyfriend, your family, or with the girls."

Ronn Moss may not be planning on returning to the role of Ridge on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL anytime soon, but he has returned to his band, Player! Moss reunited with former bandmate Peter Beckett, and together they released the fifth Player album, Lost In Reality. And on Monday, June 3, Moss and Player will be performing a special benefit concert in honor of his wife, Devin DeVasquez's 50th birthday, and supporting her favorite charity, Shelter Hope Pet Shop. The show will be held at The Canyon Club in Agoura, CA, at 8:00 pm PST with a red carpet at 7:00. For tickets to this special one night only live event, click here!

Good news for fans of THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL's Don Diamont (Bill) and Scott Clifton (Liam) as Soaps In Depth has learned that both actors have inked new contracts to remain with the soap. While a spokesperson wouldn't divulge details of the contracts, they did confirm that they had been signed!
Having lost Nick to Brooke back in the day, Bridget would certainly have a few choice words for her mother upon learning that she's stealing Bill away from her sister, Katie! So it's a good thing that Bridget's on her way back to THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL! According to Zap2it, Ashley Jones is on her way back to shoot about three or four episodes.
"There's some fun stuff with Bridget's mom [Brooke]," Jones told the site. "I specifically didn't want to go back for a wedding or a funeral. I feel like this is too cool a character to come back and just sit in the background."
A rep for the show confirms that Jones will first appear on Wednesday, May 22. There's no telling at this time, though, whether or not this could turn into a longer stint with the soap.
CBS is bringing back Tweet Week from Thursday, April 4, through Wednesday, April 10, but daytime fans are going to be most interested in Monday, April 8, and Tuesday, April 9!
On Monday, April 8, during the 12:30 pm East Coast airing of THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, Jessica Collins (Avery) and Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea) will be tweeting along with the show. Just use the hashtag #TweetYR to ask questions, and be sure to follow @JessicaCollins and @MClaireEgan to read their responses!
Then, on Tuesday, April 9, during the 1:30 pm East Coast airing of THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL, fans can interact with Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke) and Kim Matula (Hope)! Just use the hashtag #TweetBandB and follow @KatherineKellyL and @BandB_CBS (for Matula).
If you really want to join the party during each tweeting session, you can log in to the CBS Connect Lounge with your Twitter account and post questions and read responses collected there for you!
There have been crossovers between THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL and THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS before, some long-term (Ashley, Lauren) and others brief (Eric). And with Y&R's Jabot branching out into fashion, it's only natural that they'd require a gifted photographer to snap some shots of their garments. Which is why Zack Conroy's shutterbug Oliver will be crossing over from B&B to Y&R for two episodes. He's scheduled to start taping his Y&R scenes on Wednesday, April 17, so his episodes should air in late May.

CBS is offering fans of THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL a whole new way to watch the soap with the newly-released CBS Connect App! The second-screen experience lets B&B viewers experience content like historical slideshows, interactive polls, behind-the-scenes trivia and Twitter interaction all while watching the show either live or on your DVR. The app syncs to whichever episode you're watching and gives you all the extra information as you watch!
"The release of THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL synched second screen app is exciting news for CBS Daytime and our audience," said Angelica McDaniel, Senior Vice President, CBS Daytime. "The app marks a first for any daytime television program on network TV and, most importantly, enhances our fans' TV-viewing experience, offering them a deeper connection with the characters and content of each episode."
There are already second-screen experiences for primetime shows like CRIMINAL MINDS, CSI, HAWAII FIVE-O and NCIS: LOS ANGELES, but this marks the first time that a daytime show has been included on the CBS Connect app. The app is available at the iTunes App Store for free, so there's really no reason not to give it a try!
Set those DVRs! Two of your favorite former daytime stars are about to storm two of your favorite primetime TV dramas. "I'm guest starring on ABC's CASTLE," reveals THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL's William deVry (ex-STORM) of his role in the series' 100th episode. Alas, deVry didn't get to trade dialogue with fellow former soap star, Nathan Fillion (JOEY, ONE LIFE TO LIVE), whose title character is laid up with a broken leg in the tale. "I've known Nathan from the past, so that would have been nice, but my scenes were with Stana Katic, who plays Kate," deVry reveals, adding, "She was great -- I had fun!" Look for the lady detective to head out on her own to investigate the death of an IRS agent. "I'm playing a suspect [named Dan Renner]," deVry reveals. "He's a millionaire, but he's also a real douche." The episode, titled "Plays Well With Others," airs Monday, April 1, at 10 p.m. EST.
The actor tells In Depth that he's already on to his next exciting project. "I'm making The Outsider, a movie starring James Caan," he says of the crime thriller. In it, a British military contractor (played by EASTENDERS' Craig Fairbrass) is mistakenly informed that his daughter is dead and launches an investigation. "My character is just a good dude who helps out his longtime friend (Fairbrass)," deVry offers.
Since returning from Canada, where he starred last year on a sitcom, deVry says he's been fortunate to continue working steadily in Los Angeles and happy to be home with his girlfriend, Rebecca Staab (ex-April, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS; Jessie, GUIDING LIGHT). Alas, the successful couple still hasn't had time to relax. Staab just finished taping a guest appearance for the upcoming summer season of Showtime's DEXTER! Look for her to play a character named Lucy Gerard in the episode airing Sunday, July 14, at 9 p.m. EST.

Congratulations are in order for THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL's Jacob Young (Rick) and his wife, Christen! The couple -- already parents to four-year-old Luke -- are expecting their second child in September.

The Smithsonian Institute has partnered with the National Academy Of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) to bring some of the most iconic daytime television memorabilia to the national museum! A rep tells Soaps In Depth that it is still in the planning stages, but the Smithsonian hopes to eventually showcase a collection that features costumes, props, scripts, awards and much more!
Tell us below, which iconic items from the history of daytime television programming do you think should be included in The Smithsonian's collection?
If you've been wondering who fathered Maya's child on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL, well... wonder no longer! According to TV Guide, it was Ricky Paull Goldin!
The daytime vet, who has previously played Dean on ANOTHER WORLD, Gary on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, Gus on GUIDING LIGHT and Jake on ALL MY CHILDREN, will reportedly first appear on B&B Wednesday, May 15, as Jesse. It's not a contract role, but who knows where the future may lead!

Don't miss a couple of daytime stars in this weekend's episode of CELEBRITY APPRENTICE! When Donald Trump tasks the celeb contestants with performing a soap opera scene to promote Crystal Light, they call upon none other than soap legends Susan Lucci (Erica, ALL MY CHILDREN) and Jack Wagner (Frisco, GENERAL HOSPITAL; ex-Nick, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL) to help make them authentic! (Not that contestant Lisa Rinna (ex-Billie, DAYS OF OUR LIVES) probably needs much help!)
Catch all the fun on the episode of CELEBRITY APPRENTICE titled "I'm Being Punked By A Jackson", airing Sunday, March 17, at 9:00 pm EST!

The days of having to be home to watch your favorite soap opera are long gone, changed forever by the introduction of the VCR, later the DVR and now the Internet. And CBS has just released an iPad and iPhone app that will give you yet another way to watch your favorite shows. The CBS App will let you stream full episodes of CBS programming from daytime, primetime and nighttime. While primetime shows will be available one week after airing, daytime and nighttime shows will be available within 24 hours after they air. So you can watch THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL and THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS the following day wherever you might be. While currently only available in the Apple App Store, CBS is planning to release the app for all major mobile and tablet platforms like Android and Windows 8 later this year.

While the actual nominees won't be revealed until May 1, the National Academy Of Television Arts & Sciences has announced the Drama Performer categories for the 40th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.
Peer judges viewed clips of each entrant, then selected their top ten performer choices in each category, the results of which were then tabulated by an independent accounting firm. (There are 11 ladies in the Lead Actress category due to a tie.) Those who received the highest number of votes now advance to the Blue Ribbon screening round, which will determine both the nominees and the winners. This year, the Younger Actor and Younger Actress categories, for performers under the age of 25, only had 9 submissions each, so there was no pre-nomination round necessary.
In alphabetical order, here are the pre-nominated performers:
LEAD ACTRESS
Sharon Case (Sharon, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS)
Jeanne Cooper (Katherine, Y&R)
Susan Flannery (ex-Stephanie, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL)
Finola Hughes (Anna, GENERAL HOSPITAL)
Peggy McCay (Caroline, DAYS OF OUR LIVES)
Kelly Monaco (Sam, GH)
Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki, Y&R)
Michelle Stafford (Phyllis, Y&R)
Kelly Sullivan (Kate, GH)
Heather Tom (Katie, B&B)
Laura Wright (Carly, GH)

This takes "Bring Your Child To Work Day" to a whole new level! THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL star Heather Tom (Katie) announced that her 4-month-old son, Zane Achor, will now be playing her TV son, Will, starting Wednesday, April 17! "He just had his first shot - my son smiled on cue!" she tweeted, adding that co-star Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy) got to hold the tot. "He's a flirt just like his TV dad!"
The worlds of Genoa City and Beverly Hills will get just a little bit closer when John McCook brings his alter ego, Eric Forrester, from THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL to THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS on Monday and Tuesday, March 18 and 19. Considering this is also the time when Nikki walks down the aisle to the love of her life, Victor Newman, could Eric be in town to attend the grand wedding? Or is his appearance more to do with business as in the fashion business that Jabot recently launched and may go head-to-head with Forrester Creations? As is their policy, Y&R is keeping mum about upcoming storyline!

Wednesday, February 13, marks a big day for SURVIVOR: PHILLIPPINES cast-off Malcolm Freberg. Not only will he make an encore run on the reality show's latest season, SURVIVOR: CARAMOAN -- FANS VS. FAVORITES, which kicks off that night, but he'll also debut on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL playing a Forrester employee!
"I'm not an employee -- I'm an 'executive,'" Freberg jokes of his scene with B&B's Jacob Young (Rick) and Kim Matula (Hope). "Though I don't know what I'm in charge of or what my duties are."
While on the soap set, the reality star fielded inquiries from a few fascinated B&B castmembers. "Scott Clifton (Liam) is a huge SURVIVOR fan, so while I was sitting there trying to remember my lines, he was grilling me with behind-the-scenes questions about SURVIVOR," he says.
When asked if his B&B dialogue paid any joking nod to his other CBS TV gig, Freberg played coy. "You'll have to tune in to find out," he says, "I won't ruin the surprise, but it's funny, to say the least."
As to whether he'd be willing to reprise his B&B alter ego (also named Malcolm), Freberg was taking a "wait-and-see" approach. "That's going to depend on how the scene turned out -- I'm not sure how proficient my acting was. Then again, it's like SURVIVOR -- it's very hard to say 'no' when you get asked to come back!"

Congratulations to THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL's Adam Gregory (Thomas) and his wife, Sheridan, who became first-time parents last night! "Kannon has finally arrived!" tweeted the new mom. "After 17 1/2 hrs of labor, our perfect boy is here! 8 lbs 12 oz & 20 in born at 7:45 pm! We are beyond obsessed!" Added Kannon's dad, "8 Lbs. 12 ounces of awesome!! @imsheridanicole is the most amazing woman!"

Kyle Lowder rocked the soap world as DAYS OF OUR LIVES' Brady and THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL's Rick. Now he's stopping hearts with his lead role as long-haired, tattooed singer Stacee Jaxx in Rock Of Ages, the newest smash on the Las Vegas strip! Set in in 1987 ("the era of big bands with big egos playing big guitar solos and sporting even bigger hair"), the drama tells the story of Drew and Sherrie, two wide-eyed but talented Los Angeles newcomers who chase their dreams while falling in love and crossing paths with the likes of jaded superstars like Jaxx.
Not only does the musical feature a host of your favorite 80s hits, but it also stars the classically-trained opera singer as the glam rocker belting them out. "It's been very challenging, and not just with the singing but also with the character because he's very complex," Lowder confides. "He's this conceited, ultra-cool rock god, but at the same time he's a moron -- it's very comedic."
From learning how not to "blow his tank" vocally when doing seven shows each week to doing his own makeup to becoming the toast of Las Vegas and even being invited to sing with the band Foreigner recently, Lowder says he's enjoying the biggest challenge of his career and that he couldn't be more proud of the show. "I'm living the life of a rock star, rocking out on stage every night," he enthuses. "It's really the best gig I could possibly imagine."
Tickets range from $45-$115 and are available from The Venetian Box Office at (866) 641-7469 or online at www.Venetian.com. For more from Lowder, who also currently appears on DEVANITY, check out his upcoming interview in a future issue of Soaps In Depth.
If you'd like to know what Sean Kanan (A.J., GENERAL HOSPITAL; ex-Deacon, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL/THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS) is like off the set, you need go no further than www.UBNRadio.com where you'll be able to tune into the actor's new Internet radio show!
Kanan and his wife, Michele, will be co-hosting Kanan's Rules on the UBN Radio Network, discussing careers, romance, politics, current events and more with each other and with special guests. Almost no topic will be off-limits!
"Five years ago, I was a bachelor who lived alone in the Hollywood Hills," Kanan says. "I came and went and didn't answer to anyone. Now I am living with a wife, five kids and two dogs. That alone provides enough topics to last the next ten years!"
"We make a great team," Michele adds. "Living with Sean is like a carnival ride sometimes because I never know where we're gonna be or how we will get stuff done. But amid all of our shenanigans, we manage to excel at our careers and more importantly, at being a family."
Kanan's Rules will air live on Wednesdays from 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm PST at www.UBNRadio.com starting this Wednesday, February 6. Past episodes will be archived at iTunes, Stitcher and TuneIn, so you don't have to worry about missing a show!
Soap opera veteran and two-time Emmy winner Crystal Chappell (Danielle, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL; ex-Carly, DAYS OF OUR LIVES; Olivia, GUIDING LIGHT) now stars in the entertaining new Web series, THE INN. Part ghost story and part psychological thriller, THE INN tells the tale of a woman (Chappell) for whom getting stranded in a remote town results in a journey of self-discovery.
"It's about how new people come in and teach you lessons that you need to learn and ultimately resolving some underlying demons," Chappell previews. "Steve Silverman (the show runner behind the award winning web comedy, PRETTY) is a wonderful writer and director. He really put a lot into this show -- the script is spooky fun!"
Also in the series is Denise Alexander (Lesley, GENERAL HOSPITAL; Mary, ANOTHER WORLD), whose real-life property was used as the location for the show. "She plays a resident of the neighborhood, and our characters end up bonding," Chappell explains. "It was really fun to [work with] her." Posting at www.theinntheseries.com beginning Monday, February 4, the weekly series will air over the course of three seasons in 2013, all of which have already been shot.
"It has so many twists and turns and symbolism in it," Chappell enthuses. "It's not a gory thing or a scary, 'boo' thing... you just really have to think about it -- the soap fans will enjoy it." For more about the actress and news about her other Internet-based dramas, VENICE and THE GROVE, check out her interview in the next CBS issue of Soaps in Depth.
